Mojo Barriers Northern Office Already A Festival Success

The new office which opened in April 2011 has already provided services for Radio 1’s Big Weekend and is preparing for new contract win Newcastle’s Evolution Festival.

The Mojo Barrier team led by managing director, Jim Gaffney supplied over 300 metres of aluminium crowd barrier to Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Carlisle, to secure all four stages. Jim directed a crew of three skilled professionals during the build, which also included half a day ensuring the ground was level for the safe installation of the barrier systems. The Mojo Barriers’ equipment was loaded in the Friday before the festival and removed immediately after the event finished.

Following this successful event, Mojo Barriers will be supplying 107 metres of stage barrier to Evolution Festival. Taking place across Bank Holiday weekend 27th-29th May, an expected 60,000 festival goers will descend into Newcastle for the event. In addition to the standard stage barrier, Mojo Barriers will also be providing 20 metres of the newest product to be added to their extensive range, ‘sight barrier’. This extra high barrier is used to create a secure and private backstage partition for all three stages at the festival.

Along with festivals, the Northern office is busy supplying venues across the region, starting with a Paulo Nutini gig in the newly refurbished York Barbican on June 3rd.
