Ben was one of those people you meet in your life and realise that you are in the company of someone uniquely gifted.
He used to call me Boss, which always made me laugh as 50% of our conversations I really didn’t understand what he was talking about. Ben had an amazing way of being able to explain something very technically complicated so even I could understand. He was without doubt the most gifted visual director I have ever met. His work on Coldplay’s Ghost Stories shoot was beyond genius, it was otherworldly.
The other part of Ben was that he was an amazing human being. He was a devoted husband and father and a great champion of causes. To say that he will be missed is a complete understatement. He was universally loved by all and I will always have a place for him in my heart.
