Blitz Communications has turned to EM Acoustics for an audio solution composed of loudspeakers from every one of their product ranges – HALO family line arrays, point source loudspeakers, subwoofer, monitors and DSP amplifiers.
“HALO-A has tons of headroom and with this being one of the most dynamic PAs we’ve ever used it has such a huge sensitivity. It never sounds like it’s trying and it can deal with huge amounts of dynamic range. It can do whispers quite well, but it can be a rock and roll PA as well – when you push it, it steps up,” said Aaron Ross, Sound and Theatre director of Blitz Communications.
Sound designer, Gregory Clarke, chose to use EM Acoustics loudspeakers throughout for the West End revival of the classic Broadway musical at London’s Playhouse theatre, based on a main HALO-C line array system supplemented by EMS Series point source products for the vocal and orchestra systems.
