ChainMaster introduced new chain hoists for the entertainment sector – including the first prototypes of the ChainMaster PK and Ultra series with load capacities ranging from 250 kg to 2000 kg. The new chain hoists are designed in accordance with SQ P2, which was first released in October 2018, and can safely hold loads directly over people with a static chain safety factor of at least 8:1. The low tare weight and compact construction ensure easy handling in daily rigging usage. In addition, the IP degree of protection has been increased to better protect the drives against moisture. The new equipment will be available at the beginning of the third quarter. A wide range of control systems rounds off the offer.

ChainMaster works closely with leading stage construction companies, developing and implementing customer-specific solutions that are used in classical and modern theatres, opera houses, TV studios, multi-purpose halls and on tour. A wide variety of drives such as chain hoists, cable winches, trolleys, lifting platforms or revolving stages can be integrated into the ChainMaster XYZ control system, thus enabling professional users to implement safe all-in-one solutions with optimum performance in accordance with EN 61508 SIL3 and BGV-C1.

Since the market launch of ChainMaster products in 1994, the medium-sized, Saxon-based company has developed into one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hoist technology in the event industry and offers a comprehensive range of products for all requirements from set-up operations to complex scenic movements to complete automation of performances. National and international projects are accompanied individually from planning to implementation through to user training. The worldwide network of ChainMaster Consulting Offices, commercial partners and trained service companies guarantees comprehensive after-sales service. ChainMaster now exports to 55 countries worldwide.

As a result, the company’s references include projects such as the new Elbe Philharmonic Hall in Hamburg, the Louvre in Lens, the Stockholm Opera, the Almaty Ice Arena, the Kremlin State Palace, the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi and the Helmut List Hall in Graz.
