Hot on the heels of announcing a presence in the US in late 2015, London-based digiLED has announced the next stage of their expansion programme with the launch of digiLED SEMEA (Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa).
Regional Director, Roberto Segato, a renowned face in the AV industry, heads up the new digiLED team, which is based in Milan and covers the South of Europe, Central and North Africa, and the Middle East.
Segato’s history mirrors that of CEO Graham Burgess and US General Manager Randy Green, with all three having a long history in the LED business working for Sony and Lighthouse.
Segato said of digiLED: “I’m delighted to join digiLED at such an exciting time. Their product range has some market leading innovations which I know will be welcomed in my sales region. It is an exciting time for us to be part of digiLED’s growth strategy.”
Joining Roberto as Regional Sales Manager is Andrea Greguoldo, who brings 10 years of LED sales expertise to digiLED and Matteo Serone, a Project Manager with extensive technical experience on LED screen installations such as Tele 2 in Denmark, Palace of the Republic in Minsk, Fiorentina stadium and the Millennium Park in Chicago.
Graham Burgess, CEO of digiLED, said: “Our ethos has always been to hire people of the highest calibre and Roberto, Andrea and Matteo certainly meet that criteria. Aside from his knowledge and experience in the giant screen business, Roberto has been a friend of mine for many years going back to our Sony days in the 90s. I am thrilled to welcome him, and his team, on a personal and professional level, to digiLED.”
