Moonlite Productions, based in Aylesbury, has just taken delivery of the latest line array to roll off the legendary Electro-Voice (EV) production line, the X-Line Advance X2.
The system consists of the high-performance X2-212/120, a two-way vertical line-array loudspeaker element providing 120° horizontal coverage, and the X-Line Advance X12-128 subwoofer, which produces the greatest low-frequency impact and performance EV has ever developed. This is all powered by TG-7 amplifiers and controlled by IRIS-Net.
Moonlite is amongst the first in the UK to receive one of these highly acclaimed systems. The company’s owner James Iyengar, a live sound perfectionist and veteran of many headline tours, was simply blown away by it when he first heard it in action. He commented: “I heard the system used in Birmingham, outdoors and was astonished by the clarity, dispersion, sheer power and ease of rigging and cabling – a must have.”
Another recent acquisition to the company’s extensive inventory is the Allen & Heath dLive S3000, again making it one of the first recipients in the UK. The dLive S3000 complements Moonlite’s existing equipment stock, which includes the also recently arrived Yamaha CL5, and the Chauvet Rogue RH1 Hybrid lighting fixture.
Moonlite is an official sales and service centre for both Allen & Heath and Yamaha products in the UK.
