Global Motion celebrates 20 years in rock n roll freight

Global motion counts Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and Chemical Brothers amongst its clients.

Founded in May 2003, Global Motion has become one of the live event production industry’s most respected touring vendors.

Since its inception, the company has remained independently owned and run. After surviving the Covid-19 pandemic, the company began its 20th year with two of the world’s biggest tours; Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics, and Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres.

Supplying Air, Sea and Road Freight Services, Freight Charters, Hand Carry, Storage and ATA Carnets, Global Motion has today worked with some of the biggest names in rock n roll alongside some of the music industry’s most exciting up-and-coming talent.

From its offices in London and LA, and with 15 full-time staff and multiple global agents, the team works across sectors including Concert Touring, Live Events, Broadcast & Film and Theatre & Performing Arts.
Providing a time critical service to high-pressure tours and events has been the making of Global Motion. While it hasn’t missed a show in its two-decade history, it has gained unrivalled exposure to some of the planet’s most challenging territories.

Founder, Adam Hatton, describes the key to its success: “Honesty and communication are of the utmost importance; our industry is built on trust, and we pride ourselves on integrity.

“Some things will always be out of our control… but we are used to crisis management and doing everything in our power to make sure that shows are delivered. We’re a people-led business that provides a genuine 24/7 service.

“We would like to thank our amazing clients for their support over the last 20 years, and we look forward to the next 20!”
