Pearce Hire participated at The Showman’s Show, taking place at Newbury Showground on 19 and 20 October. The Showman’s Show traditionally provides an excellent meeting and networking opportunity for long-standing exhibitor Pearce Hire and is perfectly timed at the end of the long summer festival season, before the corporate event, touring and Christmas season kicks off.
It also followed a week after Pearce Hire’s participation at the first ‘Production Futures’ event, a collaboration between TPI Magazine and Production Park where the event took place.
“Production Futures and the TPI Breakthrough Talent Awards provided an excellent platform to engage with the next generation of technicians and designers for our industry. And we were delighted to have met some students who would be suitable candidates for our intern programme,” observed Shaun Pearce, MD Pearce Hire. “But obviously equally important is nurturing our existing business and making sure we continue to deliver for our current client base, whilst engaging with any new business opportunities for next year. That is what Showman’s Show offered us – the face-to-face contact with our clients to review projects we have worked on this summer, and to discuss how we can enhance and add to our specialist production services for them next year as they begin their planning and budgeting for 2017 events.’
The Showman’s Show also provided Pearce Hire the perfect opportunity to meet prospective new clients and discuss how Pearce Hire can help achieve their event objectives and production requirements. Pearce Hire are a highly regarded production services and rental provider with a varied range of customers including Cambridge Live, Events Unlimited, Forestry Commission, Loudsound, Run For All, Urban Festivals and Warners Exhibitions.
