Video Illusions lands Heritage Live site supply deal until 2025

Video Illusions is set to supply Heritage Live sites with a range of video kit and crew for the next three years.

Video Illusions has been named the official video supplier of Heritage Live sites until 2025.

“Over the years I have worked with just about every supplier of video screen for touring, outdoor concerts and television. Video Illusions are by far the best I’ve ever worked with. Their professionalism, attention to detail and reliability are unsurpassed and I’d be the first to recommend their services,” GCE Live / Heritage Live Director and Royal Variety Performance Executive Producer, Giles Cooper of Giles Cooper Entertainment commented.

Video Illusions will tap into its arsenal of INFIiLED ER4mm LED panels, IMAG screens and upstage screens – as well as a comprehensive camera package with Sony broadcast channels; Osprey Pedestal track and dollies; media servers to support visiting artists’ playback requirements and creative vision mixing and show recording capabilities to supply Kenwood House, South of England Showground, Englefield House, Audley End House festivities, which are set to feature the likes of Nile Rogers, Culture Club, and Russel Watson, along with the Philharmonic Orchestra, Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds, Rag and Bone Man, and James, among other big names in the next three years.

Video Illusions Director Nick Whiteoak is among the team “hugely excited” to be signing a three year deal with GCE. “Last year they were a breath of fresh air and a great welcome back to Live Events following the COVID-19 pandemic,” he told TPi. “They are a pleasure to work with and we value there professionalism – delivering events on this scale can be a breeze when it’s in such capable hand. The Heritage Live Events are iconic and Video Illusions are proud to be signing this deal.”

According to Whiteouk, Video Illusions will always have passion for the live events, despite the uncertainty surrounding the sector post-lockdown. “We spend 90% of our roster in that environment and we feel we are prepared for the many curve balls thrown by, just that, the ‘live’ element of events with last minute changes, content requests, and different applications of the technology,” he concluded. “Video Illusions thrive in these scenarios and we are over the moon to be partnering Giles on this journey through the next three years and beyond.”
