With the investment in no less than 3 Prolyte roof systems, Swiss rental company Sonoval is making a solid statement. The recently acquired Prolyte MPT system and 2 ARC systems will be the core of their outdoor activities this summer.
Sonoval Sàrl is a relatively young; Swiss based company, operating from both its Martingy and Fribourg branches. They are active in the field of lighting, sound and stage, in- and outside Switzerland and are driven by fierce ambition. Sonoval Sàrl has taken advantage of its experience to fine-tune its range of services, extending from video, to scenic structures and technically demanding projects.
Based on its broad experience, Sonoval supplies to many Swiss based events and, on top of that, acts as equipment supplier for many other rental and event companies. Being recognised as regional leader, they keep a substantial stock of rental equipment.
Looking to expand their rental stock for outdoor structures they turned to CAST Suisse, Prolyte’s distributor in Switzerland. Together with Bruno Lerminiaux, Prolyte Distributor Manager, they decided to invest in 2 roof types to create a flexible rental fleet that would meet the demands of their customer base.
The first investment is a MPT 12 x 10m-roof system. The Prolyte MPT Roof is a tower-based structure with a pitched roof, a design, which guarantees optimum strength. Primarily configured from standard trusses, the MPT Roof offers not only maximum flexibility through its many calculated building varieties, but it is also a cost-effective investment.
Next to that, Sonoval decided to invest in two Prolyte Arc roof systems: size 8x6m and 6x4m. The Arc Roof is a fixed construction, based on three inward-curving trusses that are mounted to side masts. Different configurations are made possible by simply changing the arches. The arched trusses have a keder profile on top for fitting optional canopies.
During the initial proof build in the Stade d’Octodure in Martingy, the technical crew of Sonoval were fully convinced of their choice. The integration with either a Prolyte or Layher besed stage and the easy fitting of all part just makes this a pleasure to work with. Gabriel D’Amico, Head Design at Sonoval comments: “We had wind gusts of 70 km/hour just shortly after the build. This is when you know you have made the right choice: when a roof system does exactly what you want it to do and proves to be a solid and safe structure.”
As Valentin Jacquas, Owner of Sonoval added: ”We have full trust in Prolyte, they adhere to the same philosophy as Sonoval; Quality and Safety.”Matthias Moeller, Senior Techncal Advisor at Prolyte and Bruno Lerminiauxtook responisbility of training the technical crew to become competent inbuilding the systems. This being a standard procedure at Prolyte, guarantees safe use of the systems.
Bruno Lerminiaux commented: ”Customers like Sonoval realize more than ever that safety is the biggest issue. This is what their customers expect from them, offering the safest possible solution. In mountainous surroundings, with a lot of different winds, the Prolyte roof system just proves its value. Our customers operate in a professional field and do recognise that value”.
