The 44th edition of the EO Youth Day took place in the Gelredome Stadium in Arnhem, The Netherlands on 26 May 2018. Traditionally, this event draws quite an audience, young people with a religious background meet here for inspiration, music and fun. This one-day event boasts an impressive line-up of keynote speakers and bands, like King & Country, Matt Redman, Britt Nicole and Guvna B.
Designed to the overall theme Walk on Water, the elaborate stage design used over 250 square meters of LED screens and additional LED strips. Faber Audiovisual supplied all visuals for the event, including ROE Visual LED screens.
The set design included ROE Visual MC7 panels, which were used for the main stage screen and DJ Booth. Furthermore, ROE Visual MC12 panels were used to display creative visuals on stage left and right banners that reach out towards the audience, following the stage design. ROE Visual MC12 panels were used for the stage left and right IMAG screens. An on-site camera crew captured the show for direct on-screen display.
The outlines of the stage, designed with two zig-zag catwalks, were highlighted with ROE Strip. ROE Strip is a highly adaptable LED strip, suited for various applications. With the possibility for easy video mapping, it provides the ideal solution to enhance stage design or set pieces. Using the black diffusor, ROE Strips simply blends in with the overall design.
“Thanks to the easy touring frames for the MC7 and MC12 panels we were able to build this setup in a short amount of time”, said Martin Crul, Project Manager for Faber Audiovisuals. “The ease of having the complete show running on ROE Visual products made the processing job neat, with easy switching between processors. Especially the ROE Strips, using Brompton M2 processors, made the content mapping of the strips a piece of cake”.
