PK Sound has announced Frank Gallant as the new Production Account Manager with a vast wealth of knowledge and experience derived from various positions in the production and arts world. He spent the last two and a half years as the Director of Production for Alberta Ballet where he produced 19 full-scale shows.
This also included three new mainstage creations while aiding in the development of innovative set construction techniques. Prior to the Alberta Ballet, Frank acted as Associate Director of Production with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.
While there he was responsible for producing an overwhelming 65 different productions per season (on average). His skill set also includes extensive tour experience, having travelled with both Alberta Ballet as well as Theatre New Brunswick. Frank has spent the past 20 years in the Calgary Arts scene as a technician, designer, special effects technician, Technical Director and Production Manager for theatre companies, festivals, various venues and events.
Since arriving in Calgary in 1999, Frank has been a prolific member of the Calgary music scene as well as a founding member, bassist and vocalist of the group Seven Story Redhead.
