GoboPlus.com, along with its sister companies FollowSpotPlus.com, CutColourPlus and Inluster, had a successful PLASA 2019 showing off the latest products in its range.
The presentation of the new Rosco Image Spot Mini marked the start of a new range of IP65-rated gobo projectors designed for all outdoor applications. A scaled down, weatherproof version of the already successful Rosco Image Spot, Image Spot Mini is an ultra compact 13W LED gobo projector with a 1050 lumen output, a range of three colour temperatures (3000K, 5500K and UV) and weighs just 1kg (2.2lb). Image Spot Mini offers a choice of three interchangeable lenses (11°, 17° and 25°) suitable for different throw distances and delivers crisp, clean image projection across its extremely flat field for a distance of up to 8m.
Available in black, silver and white, Rosco Image Spot Mini comes with an onboard manual dimmer and a range of optional accessories including an iris and framing shutter. A 0-10V and a DMX-controlled version will be available soon.
“Such high quality optics demand high quality gobos,” said GoboPlus.com’s CEO, Paul de Ville, and Rosco Image Spot Mini is perfect for projecting GoboPlus.com new extremely high resolution glass gobos which render images in much finer detail than has been previously possible.
“The new level of resolution enables images of much greater detail to be produced on smaller gobos, giving more scope to original designs and more accurate reproduction of standard gobo patterns,” continued de Ville. “The extremely high resolution gobos have been created in response to the huge improvements in optical quality of modern lanterns and to enable finer designs to fit on the new generation of smaller gobos used by many moving light fixtures.”
Recently launched sister company, FollowSpotPlus.com, also brought the range of LDR profiles, Fresnels and followspots to the attention of visitors, including the newly released architectural Fresnel lantern, Tondo F.
Available in white, black or silver bodywork – although any colour in the RAL range is possible by special order – this 80W LED 10°-55° Fresnel has been designed specifically for the needs of permanent architectural and commercial installations. Stylish and compact, Tondo F’s highly efficient, non-dimmable LED source produces a warm white (3200K) beam which can be focused with a slide control located underneath the main body for easy access. Optional barndoor accessories can be added for precision beam shaping, and colour filter fitted beneath the removable front ring or with the addition of an optional colour frame.
An introductory show offer promises a special price on Tondo F for all projects registered before 1 January 2020 via GoboPlus.com.
GoboPlus.com reported its most successful promotional items to date – etched ‘emoji’ earrings, designed by Vicky Fairall, which disappeared in a flash and were seen adorning visitors around the show. GoboPlus.com was also responsible for the coffee stencils made to order for ETC at the show as an example of the endless variety of bespoke etched services that GoboPlus.com can offer. “There is no end to the imaginative purposes our gobo etching can be used for,” said Vicky Fairall.
There was even a little demonstration by acrobat, Miriam Wolanski, of how GoboPlus.com bends over backwards to accommodate it clients’ every gobo need! “I think we will stick to producing the best gobos in the industry with our top notch customer service!” confirmed de Ville. “This has been an excellent show for us with plenty of excitement and positive responses to our new launches that will keep us busy well into the future.”
