After a successful New Year’s Eve party collaboration, SLS South Beach in Miami Beach has once again enlisted the services of D.R.V.C.S for the complete stage, lights and audio for their pool parties at Hyde Beach during Miami Music Week. With world-renowned DJs and performers including Claptone, Fatboy Slim, Diplo, Kaskade, Meduza, Galantis, and more, the sound system needed to be flawless.
Davel Rodriguez, owner of D.R.V.C.S. deployed K-array Firenze KH7 and KS8 speakers for the main PA and KH2 and KS5 speakers for the DJ monitor rig. “We continue to turn heads and amaze people by the clarity of the system, total SPL and consistent coverage throughout the whole pool area,” stated Rodriguez. “Normally, we would have to deploy at least twice as many tops and subs, but with K-array, less is better. My audio team is excited to be able to play with a system so powerful and has yet to reach its limits. The client, SLS South Beach ‘just can’t believe what we are able to achieve with such a small footprint!’”
