Introducing SMK: Karno’s new face of distribution

Karno announced the formation of its distribution arm now known as SMK (Sales and Marketing by Karno). Previously Karno covered the distribution of well-known brands, such as Sony’s Pro Audio portfolio, alongside the development of its technologies.

This strategic move consolidated Karno’s efforts towards distribution under the new SMK banner, streamlining its operations and enhancing its distribution services.

As Director of Karno, Adam Pierce forms the foundations of SMK, with Sam North at the helm as Sales Manager. Together, alongside a supporting team, they leverage their experience to drive growth and success for SMK within the Professional Audio Market.

SMK remains deeply rooted in Karno’s legacy of excellence, carrying forward its support throughout the industry. With a focus on distributing Sony Professional Audio products, including its DWX wireless system, UWP-D ENG systems and microphones, SMK continues to uphold Karno’s commitment to delivering solutions to its dealers and users.

SMK has also established a presence in the USA, paving the way for global expansion and replicating its success and partnership with Sony into new territories. Over the coming months, SMK will continue to announce further exciting developments, including additional brands joining its portfolio and an expanding sales force and staff count.
