Yellow Studio won the Entertainment Craft Team award at the 2024 BAFTA Television Craft Awards for their work creating the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
Julio Himede, founder of Yellow Studios, joined fellow winners Tim Routledge, Kojo Samuel, Michael Sharp and Dan Shipton, who were all recognised for their work creating and delivering the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
For the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, Yellow Studio served as the stage designer, which the UK hosted on behalf of 2022 winners Ukraine. The architecture took inspiration from a wide hug that enfolded the Liverpool Arena, opening its arms to Ukraine, and the show’s performers and guests worldwide.
The unique stage design covered the arena floor, connecting the stage, performers, audience, and greenroom as one structure. The approach offered contestants and hosts multiple performance locations and demonstrated how music can transcend borders and unite people as one unit.

During the past year, Yellow Studio has been responsible for creating some of the biggest moments in live entertainment, serving as the design team for 2024 Grammy Awards and the 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards.
