Showlight saw many people at PLASA Show London 2024 and got to witness the anticipation caused by the news that Showlight returns May 2025.
There was a contingent of students enquiring about the subsidised student scheme and huge interest in the new introduction of afternoon workshops for 2025. The format of the workshops is shaping up and Showlight is encouraging manufacturers, designers and students to put forward their ideas for more workshops
Showlight have already received a number of Papers proposals following its Call for Papers in June and is looking forward to more coming in. The Programme of Papers is the heart and soul of Showlight. Showlights wants to hear from lighting designers working in all disciplines: film, television, architectural, art installation, theatre, opera, event and concert lighting.
Showlight is organised entirely by volunteers and will take place the 19 to 22 of May 2025.
