Production Futures has announced the dates for its autumn ON TOUR events. They will take on 15 October at the Backstage Centre in Purfleet and Wednesday 27 November at Production Park in Wakefield. That latter event will see the presentation of this year’s much anticipated Production Futures Breakthrough Awards.
The events will enable young visitors to connect with representatives of Production Futures’ brand partners to explore employment opportunities in the production sectors.
Production Futures has also announced that its successful TALKS podcast will now be featured as part of each show, with guests being interviewed in front of a live audience.
“The team look forward to welcoming a significant number of young people to our autumn events and guiding them toward the myriad opportunities that exist for them within the production sector,” Hannah Eakins of Production Futures commented. “Our ON TOUR events have proved incredibly successful in helping to encourage and develop emerging talent, and we’re grateful for the support of our enterprising brand partners who see the huge value in helping to secure a strong future for our industry.”
“We’re very excited to be taking our TALKS Podcast out on the road with us – we love talking to inspiring people, exploring hidden job roles, and exploring the training opportunities that are out there for young people,” Eakins continued. “As everyone knows, we’re huge advocates for diversity and employability, and are on a mission to ensure that every young person has access to opportunities working in creative and technical jobs. Obtaining firsthand advice from our dynamic and insightful guests can play an important part in achieving those aims.”
