With an enlarged booth, innovative new products and a sustainable trade fair presence, GLP began a promising year at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 show in Barcelona.
ISE was an unqualified success for the German manufacturer. With a booth that was significantly larger than last year and featured a new, sustainable design, the company was more present than ever in the space and consequently attracted the masses to their booth.
“Both the quality and quantity of visitors were exceptionally high at ISE this year,” said Udo Künzler, GLP CEO. “Our booth was noticeably extremely busy on all days, and visitors were particularly impressed by some of our products.”
Two new products, developed with quality and cost-effectiveness in mind, were well received. These were the GLP Wild Bar 16, a motorised LED tilt bar with IP65 protection rating, and the JDC Burst 1, the weatherproof successor to the popular JDC1 hybrid strobe, with massively increased colour performance.
The FUSION EXO Hybrid 40, a versatile, weatherproof moving head with 380 W white light LED, 135 mm front lens and a zoom range of 3.8° to 46°, also ensured high demand with its performance and price-performance ratio. Weighing only 25kg, with integrated EtherNet ports, LumenRadio CRMX and the GLP iQ.Mesh system, it offers flexibility, high light output and easy handling.
Not surprisingly, GLP’s new fat beam LED spotlight, MAD MAXX, with its 750 mm light aperture, became the selfie hotspot of the trade fair. In terms of light output, it is comparable to classic xenon beamlights, but in a significantly more compact housing and, above all, is more energy efficient. Thanks to its IP65 protection rating and low-maintenance LED technology, including crisp colours and pattern effects, MAD MAXX delivers reliable performance as a SkyBeam or super fat beam effect.
Anyone leaving the trade fair on Wednesday evening could admire the fixture’s massive beams about five kilometres away, in the sky above the city. The devices were used at FC Barcelona as part of the Basketball EuroLeague game. In addition to the sensational new products, the GLP booth – as in previous years – proved to be a popular meeting place for networking and socialising.
“After the very successful participation in this year’s ISE, and the general reception from the international lighting community, we are planning an even bigger trade fair participation for next year,” concluded Künzler, looking to the future.
