Absen has welcomed Jaswinder Guleria as new Industry Development Director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
Bringing two decades of experience within the AV industry, Guleria will expand and strengthen the company’s business alliances throughout the MEA region, to bolster Absen’s global network.
Reporting to Ruben Rengel, Senior Vice President, global business development at Absen, Guleria’s primary objectives will be identifying and introducing Absen to potential clients, consultants, and distributors in the region, to forge new business associates and partners in Absen’s global network.
Guleria – whose industry experience includes more than 19+ years in the visual display market – joins the global LED display manufacturer, having previously worked alongside brands such as Philips, Samsung, LG, and Epson. He boasts an impressive understanding of visual display technology in LED, LCD and DV LED.
“Displays technology is currently experiencing a great shift in terms of visual communication,” commented Guleria. “Knowledge is the key to success. My extensive background in visual displays is something I can share with Absen, to add value to its already renowned reputation.”
In speaking of his goals in the role over the next few years, Guleria comments that Absen has “come a long way already with great vision” in the MEA region. Hoping to continue on in the same strength, Guleria is looking forward to what he can deliver to the future of the company. “Absen is the undisputed market-leader in LED, so it feels great to be part of an incredibly talented and professional team,” he said. “I firmly believe Absen will further strengthen this leadership, so it’s a very exciting team to be a part of.”
