The Showman’s Show 2016, proved to be a massive hit for Current RMS, as they celebrated their third year of exhibiting at the show. The team were flat out throughout both days of the show, demonstrating to lots of hire companies that popped by the stand to find out how Current could help them better manage their hire processes.
“We were pleasantly surprised to see how many event hire professionals attended – it was packed right up until the end on both days, and had a really exciting atmosphere throughout.” commented Leigh Widdowson, Product Specialist.
Visitors to the Current RMS stand were also given a sneak preview of the new features in action, which included functionality around highlighting product and service shortages and simultaneous scan, to name just a few.
The new functionality around shortages, now makes product and services shortages within Current, much clearer, by highlighting these in red on jobs, putting alert symbols next to the items and a handy, new dashboard tile, grouping all upcoming orders with shortages, hoping to eliminate the overbooking of equipment for customers.
Simultaneous Scan, gives users the ability to see what products are being scanned, in real time so colleagues can work on the same job, getting this prepped and booked out, ready for delivery.
Since the show, the above features have been pushed live within Current RMS, and just last week, Organisation Discount Categories was also released, available for all users to instantly start implementing. Organisation Discounts gives customers the option to apply discount categories to organisations, automatically discounting products and services on jobs within that organisation. Users can setup the discount rules and make these as straightforward or as complex as they wish.
The developers at Current RMS work constantly, building features to implement into the system, based on customer feedback via their open Wishlist. Feature ideas are pitched and then voted for by customers, giving the team at Current a clear idea of the most important features for the industry.
