Avolites Diamond 7 to have its UK debut at PLASA

Avolites plans the UK debut of the Diamond 7 (D7) at this year’s London PLASA show on stand C28 within the Robe village. Two variants, D7-330 and D7-215 that can be packed in a standard Peli Air case and checked in as hold luggage to fly anywhere with you, will be on the Avolites stand for demonstration.

Other hardware available for demonstration on the stand includes our flagship lighting control console the Diamond 9, with both variants D9-330 and D9-215, along with the T3 and T3-W – Avolites’s smallest footprint professional lighting control product. Sapphire Touch, Arena, Tiger Touch II and Quartz consoles will also be on hand at PLASA.

The Q-series media server range will also be present with the Q3, demonstrating its Synergy feature set. Software platforms Titan, Ai and the newest media software platform Prism, designed for lighting designers, are powering all our hardware products, and will be demonstrated in an eight-seater theatre style demo area on our stand. All hardware will be ably supported by our networking products Titan Net Switch (TNS) and Titan Net Processor (TNP).

Also making its debut at the PLASA show this year will be the latest version of Prism. Prism One, following on from the introduction of Prism Player and Prism Zero, is a milestone in the development of this application suite, designed predominantly for lighting designers. Key features in this version of Prism One include, added preview window, crossfade on a layer, hardware decode acceleration for H.264/H.265, control over multiple banks and layers, live input and NDI input, added virtual return and region of interest on outputs. Together with Synergy we’ve added control to surface and layers, NDI previews, cross fade duration and speed control. As well as updates to improve playback performance on AiM, NotchLC, and HAP media.

“We have a fantastic product line-up on our stand this year, that showcases Avolites’ depth of portfolio with full control of the whole visual canvas,” Paul Wong, Avolites Managing Director said. “We are really looking forward to meeting customers and supporters and demonstrating our growing hardware and software product range with our renowned ‘Ease of Use’ approach.”

Wong concluded, “We are all really looking forward to seeing a packed stand again this year andhearing the feedback of our enthusiastic users. It is going to be a great show!”
