CHAUVET Professional built its LDI exhibit around the theme of “Reveling Our True Colors.” The company’s immersive booth also featured a design by Gigi Pedron. A pair of notable examples of this capability could be seen in new additions to the successful Maverick Storm and STRIKE series of fixtures.
The Maverick Storm 1 Flex and STRIKE V both build on the highly regarded reputations of their namesake series in terms of output and performance.
For the Maverick Storm 1 Flex, the story began with it being a high-output, lamp-free multi-functional fixture. Designers can enjoy the flexibility of a multi-functional unit alongside the reliability of advanced LED technology. Sharp beams and dynamic effects, CMY+CTO colour mixing, a tight 2.4° to 53° zoom, layerable prisms, rotating gobos.
The Maverick Storm 1 Flex also features a Sky Tracker Mode that allows up to four fixtures to operate in unison, creating dramatic aerial effects for large-scale applications.
The new STRIKE V also made a splash at LDI through its sheer power and performance. Going beyond its famous Color STRIKE M cousin, this breakthrough hybrid strobe-wash offers two layers of 48 RGB LEDs that can be pixel-mapped individually.
The STRIKE V’s individual pixel control opens the way to creative possibilities. To expand design options even further, the motorised fixture has a variable electronic frost plate that can change beam angles instantly at the press of a button. With its 180° tilt, versatile mounting options, and rugged IP65-rated durability, the intensely bright STRIKE V will find itself right at home in a wide variety of applications in 2025. So too will its LDI newcomer stablemate, the Maverick Storm 1 Flex.
Together both fixtures revealed CHAUVET Professional’s “true colours,” at LDI.
