CHAUVET STRIKE Bolt 1C combines ‘old school with new cool’

This intense colour-infused strobe has a feature that sets it apart from the pack – an innovative fully-integrated Smart Frost filter.

CHAUVET Professional’s new STRIKE Bolt 1C combines “old school with the new cool,” to come up with a unique IP65 fixture that offers unimaginable and unlimited design possibilities.

Featuring twin strobe tubes and a single row of 66 RGBA LEDs, the STRIKE Bolt 1C works superbly as a traditional strobe. However, thanks to its integrated smart glass Frost Filter, the fixture is able to create solid clean colour block effects, radically expanding design possibilities.

The STRIKE Bolt 1C’s tool-free stacking feature, makes it fast and simple to arrange the fixture in multiple units.  Multiple hanging points, end-to-end connections, and floor feet provide maximum rigging versatility. An included stealth filter can be attached to make the fixture nearly disappear for on-camera use.

It is also easy to interconnect the STRIKE Bolt 1C with STRIKE Array fixtures. This opens the e door to creating looks that distinguish touring and festival stages with stunning configurations of coloured blinders and strobes.

Designers can also fade STRIKE Bolt 1C to determine how much frost they want. This flexibility is critically important when creating pixel mapped effects.

The STRIKE Bolt 1C demonstrated its prowess already when it played a key role in Cort Lawrence and the Raw Cereal team’s design for the Morgan Wallen One Night At A Time World Tour. They used 84 STRIKE Bolt 1C fixtures as crowd lights on the stadium tour, positioning the units atop the 250-foot video wall using custom mounts, as well as on delay towers to create a memorable glow on the audience.

Running from April through August, the One Night At A Time tour was one of the earliest major productions to draw on the transformative power of the STRIKE Bolt 1C. Judging from the performance of this powerful, versatile fixture, there certainly will be more to come.
