Building on its recent acquisition of Scène Éthique and driven by sustained growth momentum, Stageline has announced the appointment of Christine Latour to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer and Head of New Market Development.
This appointment underscores Stageline’s ambition to expand its international presence, support its global objectives, and ensure a robust strategic position for the future.
With nearly 20 years of marketing expertise, Latour is recognised for her strategic vision and ability to deliver tangible results. Holding a BBA from HEC Montréal and a Master’s degree from Purdue University, she notably served as CMO at Solotech, a global leader in audiovisual and entertainment technology, where she contributed to its international growth for seven years. Her extensive experience in international marketing will be a significant asset to Stageline.
In her new role, Latour will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and monitoring of Stageline’s development strategy. She will play a key role in identifying and reaching new markets, as well as developing and executing innovative digital strategies. Her expertise will complement the existing team to meet a strong international demand for Stageline products and capitalise on the synergies created by the acquisition of Scène Éthique.
“With Christine’s arrival, we are taking a crucial step towards realizing our growth ambitions,” said Pierre-Luc Rompré, President of Stageline. “Her proven experience in strategic marketing and her understanding of international markets will be invaluable in propelling our development and strengthening our leadership position. This appointment directly aligns with our commitment to build on the momentum of the Scène Éthique acquisition and fully leverage the potential of our combined offerings.”
Latour is enthusiastic about taking on this new challenge: “I am thrilled to join Stageline, a true flagship company that shines in the international events industry. I am joining a dynamic, bold team that values innovation, customer satisfaction, and employee empowerment — key elements that I also cherish and that drive my daily work. I thank Pierre-Luc Rompré for his trust.”
