Coda Audio UK, the newly-created, wholly-owned subsidiary of Coda Audio International, has announced the recruitment of Scott Fraser to the position of Technical Sales Manager. Fraser is a vastly experienced audio professional, having worked with RG Jones, Yamaha and Autograph in locations as diverse as Glastonbury Pyramid Stage, Westminster Abbey and the Sir George Martin Hall in Monserrat.
The new Technical Sales Manager commented: “I’ve known Rich for a long time and we’ve crossed paths on many occasions over the years. When he contacted me about getting involved with Coda [Audio], I was all ears. It must have been five years ago that I first heard a Coda [Audio] speaker, I think it might have been a monitor being put through its paces when I was working at Amber Sound. I remember going down stairs to take closer account and being struck by how good it sounded. Scroll forward to the present and after meeting Rich, then going over to Hannover to look at things in more depth, it took no time at all to realise that these are extraordinary products. As Technical Sales Manager, my role will be open up new routes to the UK market, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including consultants, specifiers, designers and engineers, as well as the traditional ‘buyers’. Opportunities to be involved with something genuinely game-changing are extremely rare and I’m really pleased to be on board.”
Managing Director of Coda Audio UK, Rich Rowley added: “Scott is someone whose reputation as a top practitioner in the industry is well deserved. He combines the know-how and hands-on qualities of the most highly qualified engineer with proven sales and marketing skills – put simply, he knows his way round every business and technical aspect of professional audio. In recent times Coda Audio has assembled the services of some formidable international talent and Scott fits that bill perfectly. With Steve Norman already in position we’re creating a real A-Team here at Coda Audio UK and I’m excited to have someone of Scott’s calibre on board, helping to drive Coda Audio further and higher.”
