CODA Audio Deutschland, subsidiary of CODA Audio International, has announced the appointment of Thomas Schlattmann to its growing operation.
Schlattmann will take on the role of Business Development Manager. As a 25 year veteran of the audio industry, the newest member of the CODA Audio team began his career as with major German broadcasters WDR and NDR, before a move to working internationally as Front of House Engineer for a host of classical, pop and jazz artists.
The appointee joins Managing Director Ton Groen’s team, which includes Technical and Sales Manager Sascha Klein, Technical and Marketing Support Sebastian Bähr and Swetlana Cansi in bookkeeping and back office.
Groen commented: “I’ve known Thomas for many years, during which time we’ve worked on several projects together and always remained in contact. We share a mutual understanding of exactly what is needed to make a show work and how a PA system should sound – I’m really pleased to have a proven operator of Thomas’s calibre on board, especially given the high regard in which he is held by the pro audio community.”
Schlattmann concluded: “I’ve enjoyed an extensive international career at the mixing console and seen and heard a host of systems, working with a wide variety of artists and it’s clear to me that CODA Audio has without doubt developed the finest PA systems in the world. I’m looking forward to sharing the advantages of these fantastic products with the German market.”
