Visitors to the NAMM Show 2019 at the Anaheim Convention Center will be able to see some of Elation’s latest lighting innovations at Booth #11542 in Hall A.
On display – and shipping from February 2019 – will be the Elation RAYZOR 760, a compact yet powerful LED wash effects luminaire with SparkLED technology. SparkLED consists of 28 individual white LEDs inside the front lens that creates a unique additional layer of effect. Driven by seven, independently controlled 60W RGBW LEDs, the Elation RAYZOR 760 with wide zoom projects well-defined mid-air beams and has an exceptionally even wash. Continuous pan & tilt rotation adds another layer of dynamic effect.
Featuring alongside the Elaton RAYZOR 760 will be the Elaton Smarty Hybrid, a full-featured Spot, Beam, Wash fixture and the most compact CMY colour mixing hybrid Elation has released to date. Features include motorised zoom, full CMY colour mixing, linear CTO, 13 dichroic colours, two gobo wheels, prism overlay and more. Elation has introduced an Ultimate Warranty program on Elation Smarty Hybrid that covers the first two years of operation or 6,000 hours of use, whichever comes first, and includes the efficient Philips MSD Platinum 200 Flex 280W lamp.
Also on show will be the new Elation Protron Eclypse, a high-powered and highly versatile hybrid LED luminaire that can multi-function as a bright blinder, powerful strobe, high-output wash light or creative eye candy effect in one. Featuring 10W CREE RGBW 4-in1 LEDs with pixel zone control, strobe intensity, duration, rate and FX control, the Protron Eclypse can fill multiple requirements in the rig.
Obsidian Control Systems has announced that both the powerful Elation NX 2 and the portable NX Wing are now shipping and will showcase at NAMM. The Elation NX 2 is the ultimate compact yet fully-integrated lighting controller with all the connectivity and power the ever-increasing size of shows demands. The Elation NX Wing is the complementary USB control surface to operate Obsidian Control Systems’ ONYX platform on any PC system without compromise.
Obsidian Control Systems is offering Capture SOLO lighting design, documentation and visualisation software free with any Elation NX Series console purchased. Universally, an easy-to-use visualization software with a fast learning curve, Capture lets you work with lighting, video, laser, moving scenery and water elements to visualise your design and help sway clients.
Elation is also offering free Capture and ONYX training sessions on 24 January 2019 at the NAMM show. The sessions will cover the basics of Capture 2018 and ONYX software and will be held from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm (Capture) and 2:00 pm-6:00 pm (ONYX).
