This week, Ben sits down with Martin Walker who has worked FOH on the whole spectrum from Judas Priest and Iron Maiden to Taylor Swift not to mention a number of years as a Production Manager. Like many, getting his start as an aspiring musician, Walker’s interest in live production soon earned his seat with The Almighty at FOH. Since then he’s earned his stripes with some of rock and metals biggest names as well as dipping his toe into the pop world as well as a variety of comedy and TV with events such as Strictly Come Dancing. But through all his years, one of the biggest pieces of advice is to always listen to those around you. “You get a great team in place and they can make you look amazing; a great PA and a great tech is half the battle!”
