WorldStage has appointed Mike Watjen as Director of LED, joining WorldStage to head the department where he previously served as Senior LED Engineer.
“We’re very excited to welcome Mike back to WorldStage where he will continue to build the LED team and reinforce our position at the forefront of LED technology,” said Josh Perlman, VP, Digital Transformation at WorldStage. “Mike is one of the most well-known and well-respected LED people in the industry. At WorldStage he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the LED team and be the first point of contact supporting our account executives during the sale and post-sale process.”
Watjen is uniquely qualified to head the LED team having extensive experience in both sales and technical support. He was most recently Field Application Engineer at NanoLumens, LED Visualization Solutions, in Acworth, Georgia. Earlier in his career he spent 18 years with Barco, the last five-and-a-half years as an Inside Sales Specialist and Field Application Engineer.
