Yes Events Ltd., the home counties based events production company, has recently added a new 22.5 square metre IP65 rated ProLights 4.8mm pitch LED modular video wall to its inventory. The IP65-rated Alphapix4T system had its first outing at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Yes put together a stand to promote a major new animated car film.
Yes Events purchased the system from the Video sales division of A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd., the exclusive UK distributor for ProLights AlphaPIX. AC-ET also supplied cabling, flight cases, control boxes, the screen mounting system and associated spares.
This is the second ProLights LED video system Yes has purchased from AC-ET – they’ve been using their indoor system regularly since 2015 and this most recent investment takes their quantity of ProLights video panels to over 200.
Tom Chennells, Production Director at Yes Events said: “Constantly improving video technology means we can create more and more striking displays for our clients. 4mm IP LED screen is the new standard and gives us the edge over all the existing 6mm IP product in the marketplace. The 4T produces an extremely sharp image suitable for very close viewing distances, whilst offering very high brightness to compete with direct sunlight.
The service, support, advice and quality of product that AC-ET’s Video team gave us with our first wall meant they were the logical people to talk to when we wanted to extend our inventory. The fact that AC-ET have demo stock allowed us to evaluate the product before purchasing, which was a big help.”
