NEXO has announced the appointment of Andrea Fantini as Italian Sales Manager. And if the Fantini name sounds familiar it’s because Andrea takes over the role from his father Gianni, the much-loved face of NEXO in Italy who leaves the company on 1 April.
Also like his father, Andrea joins NEXO from Joint Rent, which Gianni co-founded in 1990. During his 17-year stint with the AV technology and production services specialists, Andrea has gained extensive front-line experience in the sales, rental and deployment of NEXO systems from early Alpha and GEO T right through to the latest GEO M line array and P+ point source products.
“My time at Joint Rent has given me a great sense of the evolution of the NEXO brand and I’ve really enjoyed providing sales and technical support to customers” commented Andrea. “Now I’m really excited to take on this new role and to draw on my experience to help grow NEXO’s business here in Italy. It’s not the first time I’ve succeeded my father – I also took his place at Joint Rent when he joined NEXO. I’m looking forward to building on his achievements, bringing a new perspective while also honouring his accomplishments. Being part of the NEXO family is really special for me.”
As much a swapping of roles as a succession, Gianni now returns to run JointRent. “We’re delighted that NEXO customers in Italy can look forward to the same high levels of service from the two generation of Fantinis, albeit in new roles” comments Sales and Marketing Director Gareth Collyer speaking on behalf of NEXO.
