Prolights welcomed over 150 guests from 40 countries to their Headquarters in Minturno, Italy for the annual International Distributor Conference.
Guests included international distribution partners, customers and designers. The conference saw all attendees fully immersing themselves in the week’s demonstrations, keynote speeches, new product previews, networking and team bonding.
The conference was initiated by Prolights Managing Director Fabio Sorabella. After warmly welcoming the group, Sorabella initiated the keynote speeches and corporate presentations outlining the past, present and future vision for the company. Since its inception in 1990, the company has experienced consistent growth internationally and built a loyal network of distribution partners and customers. Today, Prolights luminaires can be found on a whole host of international concerts, festivals, Hollywood blockbusters, theatres, television studios, churches, theme parks and monuments, right through to the smallest bar, stage or cultural centre.
Sorabella said: “We’ve had over 150 people visit us, from our closest customers through to people who want to know more about us and what we do. Couldn’t have asked for a better crowd and the feedback from the conference about where we are heading and our ‘next step’ shows us that we are definitely on the right track.”
Paolo Albani, Prolights International Sales Manager, outlined the confidential future sales and marketing strategy for the company which will be revealed at this year’s LDI in Las Vegas. He said: “I am truly amazed by the response and energy of our distributor network. It was amazing to see everybody contributing and inspiring others. The energy and ideas they contributed really helped make the event a great success. I thoroughly look forward to seeing what the future will bring us!”
Highlights of the conference included various new product concepts for the concert touring and install markets. Along with what is to come, Prolights highlighted recent productions and installations that have trusted Prolights with their productions on the world’s stage, such as: Coldplay, X-Factor Italia, British F1 Grand Prix, UEFA Opening Ceremony, Ice Hockey World Championships, Quincy Jones, Sopot Festival, Tomorrowland and the recent installation at the famed Dubai Atlantis’ Wavehouse.
Sorabella outlined the current and future expansion plans for the Italian HQ, aimed at further developing the laboratories and R&D departments. With this vision in place, Prolights aimed to offer not only the perfect tools, but an exemplary customer journey experience that continues far beyond purchase.
The 2019 edition of the Prolights Distributor Conference included the presentation of ‘Outstanding Achievement Awards’. With all distribution partners involved, the awards provided a great platform to celebrate success and share achievements.
