Rigging Team appoints Tom Barton as Project Manager

Seasoned events professional, Tom Barton joins Rigging Team as ‘events industry bounces back’.

Tom Barton, who has more than a decade’s experience within the performing arts sector, has joined Hertfordshire-based Rigging Team as a Project Manager.

Over the course of his career, Barton has worked in various roles across the events industry at the Marlowe Theatre Canterbury and Evolution Productions, as well as eight years as senior production manager at The Luna Cinema, one of Rigging Team’s clients.

With a stage management honours degree under his belt, Barton has a wealth of knowledge, skills and expertise in production, technical and event management. He has established close working relationships across the industry and has overseen a diverse range of projects. 

Barton said: “I am thrilled to be joining one of the UK’s leading industry specialists as it continues to grow within the sector; one that holds high standards in the reliable, safe provision of equipment, support and technical expertise to productions of all sizes.
