DPA Microphones’ 25th anniversary Get Closer World Tour will complete the second-leg of its global expedition, stopping off at Canada before reaching Europe and Asia.

DPA’s 25th anniversary Get Closer World Tour allows audio enthusiasts to learn from recognised experts of the audio industry, as well as network with their peers at full day educational masterclass events. At each event, masters of audio share their experiences, reveal their best tips and give hands-on demos of miking techniques for achieving the best result in various applications, with over 200 people attended the sessions in New York and Los Angeles.
Veteran Sound Engineer, Donal Hodgson, will share his experiences working with Sting, Tina Turner, Arrested Development, Primal Scream and Duran Duran. Film Sound Engineer, Stéphane Bucher, will also share her experience working on films like Taken II and III, Valerian and Lucy. In addition, microphone experts from DPA’s headquarters in Denmark are on-site to explain miking theory and demonstrate miking techniques. Including resident expert, Bo Brinck, who has hosted workshops for many years along with DPA distributors and audio expert, Eddy B. Brixen.
DPA has been hosting workshops with its distributors for many years, involving of 25 master classes focusing on giving the participants a thorough introduction to different theoretical as well as practical miking topics.
