D.A.S Audio of America has announced the appointment of Edwin Guerra to the position of U.S. Marketing Manager. In his new position, Guerra will be responsible for all U.S. tradeshow coordination from concept to execution, social media management and content creation, supporting the company’s sales staff with a variety of marketing initiatives, and overseeing the creation of related marketing collateral. Guerra is stationed at the Miami office.
Guerra’s background consists of a wealth of experience that is expected to serve him well in his new capacity with D.A;S Audio. Prior to joining DAS, he served as Production Director for Battlefrog Race Series of Miami, where he consulted on all audio equipment purchases in addition to overseeing the deployment of equipment for events. He was also an AV installation technician for AVED Inc. of Miami. In this capacity, he was directly involved in the installation of home theatre systems, alarms, security cameras, as well as handling system programming and a variety of additional responsibilities.
Guerra also served as a sound and lighting technician for Off the Hookah of Ft. Lauderdale. While there, he managed and maintained all DJ equipment and customized DJ booth equipment per the requirements of the technical rider. Further, Guerra served as the art director at Kenote Entertainment of Hollywood, FL, where he oversaw all visual and artistic aspects of theatre and stage productions in addition to managing the company’s graphic design team.
Reflecting on his new role with D.A.S Audio, Guerra commented: “I’ve been very fortunate to work with music and sound in several different areas and, with D.A.S Audio, I now have the opportunity to further solidify the company’s standing in the U.S. market. D.A.S has an enviable reputation as a manufacturer of some of the world’s best loudspeaker systems and I look forward to helping the company take its business to the next level.”
