TAIT has announced its Asia expansion with new leadership and a new Hong Kong office. The decision to expand and establish deep roots within the region came from years of increased demand and growing commitments.

With new leadership and local staff, the team will optimize client needs by delivering premium, high-performance machinery and automation solutions for permanent and temporary installations while also providing mechanical and electrical engineering service and support. Leading the team is Kevin Taylor, a 25-year TAIT veteran who has successfully led TAIT sales, operations and support teams in both the US and UK.

In Taylor’s new role as CEO Asia Pacific, he will focus on aligning Japan, China and all Asian operations while continuing to set the standard for excellence in customer service and client relations.

Taylor said: “With the growing number of projects we are contracting every year, and in order to continue to give our clients the same exceptional level of service they would get in the USA or Europe, we felt it necessary to staff up and expand in Asia. I am looking forward to building the team, and my wife and I are excited to be moving to the Vibrant city and region with so much potential.”

Though Taylor is continuing to build a team with local talent, he is already supported by a team in Asia: Steven Snow, Director of Control Asia; Mike Sharp, General Manager Macau; Towako Yagura, Business Development Asia; Jay Whithee, Regional Support Manager Asia; and a team of engineers supporting Steven Snow, as well as, a full team of office staff located in each of the region’s growing number of offices.

In his 25 years at TAIT, Taylor built a substantial client portfolio and manages some of the company’s largest accounts including Disney and Cirque du Soleil. Taylor will remain their account manager.
