Over the past 12 months, White Light’s Audio department has grown exponentially and one of the manufacturers which WL has made a significant investment in is Shure.
The company has drawn on Shure products for a series of national and international projects, with the two organisations collaborating closely. To signify this ever-growing relationship, WL has now been granted Shure Elite Rental Partner status.
Richard Knott, WL’s Audio Business Development Manager, commented: “Shure is one of the true pioneers in the audio industry. Our clients expect the very highest standards from us therefore we need to invest in equipment which matches these. Knowing of its strong reputation, along with experiencing its products first-hand, it became clear that Shure was a manufacturer we could rely on.
Knott, who has also gained certification in QSC’s Q-SYS system programming (with QSC being distributed by Shure in the UK), added: “We have invested in a host of Shure products, including the ULXD wireless system which is the staple element of our radio microphone offerings. We chose the ULXD not only due to its superb quality but also because it ties into DANTE, our protocol of choice. With Q-SYS as one of our DSP options, we are able to specify and design installations of all sizes and functions. The flexibility and intuitiveness of Q-SYS products is simply incredible.”
Following its close work with Shure, WL has now been appointed as an Elite Rental Partner; an accolade which has only been granted to a select few companies.

Following the success of last year’s event, WL will work with Shure once again to host Wireless Mastered: Live Events. This unique opportunity will allow attendees to see how RF technology works, learn about recent changes to spectrum allocation and train with Shure’s Wireless Workbench software.
