Youth Music announces latest round of the Nextgen fund

Youth Music announced that Round Seven of the Youth Music NextGen Fund will be open for applications from Friday 1 September until Friday 29 September.

The fund is for early-stage musicians and wider music adjacent creatives, including producers, mixers, digital platforms, events entrepreneurs etc, with successful applicants granted up to £2,500 for their projects.

Youth Music launched the NextGen Fund in 2021 to equalise access to the music industries.  So far, 172 early-stage musicians and music industry creatives aged 18-25 (and up to 30 years old for people identifying as Disabled) have received up to £2,500 to launch a project, idea or business. The fund is especially aimed at those whose financial situation holds them back from pursuing their goals.

The fund is not limited to performers, but also open to producers, A&Rs, managers and agents, plus roles in the music industry that may not yet have been defined.
