Automation and motion control specialists and manufacturer, Kinesys announce Total Solution as the company’s new distributor in Singapore.
Kinesys Managing Doirector Dave Weatherhead, said: “There’s been a surge of interest in Kinesys in Asia generally in the last two to three years, and the timing of this deal is perfect for us to capitalize on this and increase our brand exposure and market share. Total Solution is a strong company that is well-established and respected, and we’re looking forward to a very positive working relationship”.
Glenn Wong founded total Solution in 1998, working with a number of premium lighting, rigging and AV brands across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Wong commented: “The interest in Kinesys in particular has grown in the last 3 years and we’ve had inquiries from numerous customers and potential clients as more productions are using more complex movement systems to create WOW factors for their shows”.
Total Solution and Kinesys have already been seen in action in Singapore since the agreement was signed, supporting the National Day Parade on August 9 2017 and Total Solution has also received training from Kinesys’ Director of Support and Training Martin Honeywill.
Dave Weatherhead also attended the regional ProAVL trade expo in the summer to further underline support. “Dave, Martin and everyone I have met and spoken to who is involved with Kinesys are nice, straight-talking and highly intelligent. They are great people with which to do business,” Wong explained.
In 2016, Taiwanese rock superstars Mayday toured Asia with a large Kinesys system, playing multiple dates in Singapore and a string of high profile corporate events in the Asia Pacific region has also helped draw attention to the potential of the technology.
