In an industry-first initiative, the events sector opened its doors to upcoming young talent with the ‘Get Into Events’ programme. A three-day training course run and hosted by youth charity The Prince’s Trust, in collaboration with specialist event crewing company Crewsaders and global creative communications DRPG, saw 12 candidates between the ages of 18 and 30 learn the ropes of the event crewing industry. Bluman Associates collaborated with Illuminos and Jodrell Bank’s Tim O’Brien to create a series of unique visual experiences for the festival audience. The Sunrise Reggae & Ska Festival 2019 took place in Burtenbach and attracted more than 5,000 visitors. With a star-peppered programme coming from all over the world, Sunrise is one of the biggest reggae events in Germany. The Spin Off Festival rocked 20,000 attendees at the Adelaide Showgrounds on Friday July 19. Novatech Creative Event Technology partnered with promoters Five Four Entertainment and Secret Sounds to supply the massive tech requirements.
