John Jones has joined ChainMaster and Liftket as their UK and Ireland agent. Jones has gained extensive experience in the hoisting industry and has held various senior positions throughout his career. He has worked with several well known world class hoist manufacturers and of course he was the Managing Director of Pfaff and Lift Turn Move Ltd.
Since the market launch of ChainMaster products in 1994, the medium-sized, Saxon-based company a subsidiary of Liftket since 2018 has developed into one of the world’s leading manufacturers of electric chain hoists and chain hoist controllers in the event industry and offers a comprehensive range of products for all requirements from set-up operations to complex scenic movements to complete automation of performances.
In its more than 25-year successful history, ChainMaster has set a few trend-setting milestones in stage technology. It all began with the development of the first PC control system in 1993, followed in 1994 by the launch of the world’s first VBG-70-certified system, thus creating a genuine standard in the industry. Only 4 years later – in 1998 – ChainMaster achieved the next triumph.
It was the first company in the world to develop speed-controlled chain hoists for scenic applications (VarioLift). Over the years, the company has repeatedly managed to produce real technological highlights with its products and innovations.
The absolute pinnacle to date in ChainMaster’s corporate history was the completion of the Qatar National Convention Center in 2011 with 1752 VarioLifts. This project is currently the largest chain hoist project in the entertainment sector worldwide.
