Equipson has praised Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) for delivering its first tradeshow in Barcelona following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The show, which took place in early June, mainly attracted local visitors but there was still sufficient footfall for exhibitors to feel it was well worth their investment.
“After one of the most difficult years our industry has ever faced, it was really heartening to see trade events such as this one making a comeback,” says Equipson CEO, Juan José Vila. “People were eager to see new products and network with others from the same industry. There is obviously plenty of pent up demand, from both customers and manufacturers, for this type of event and ISE proved that it is entirely possible to run them safely and securely. The organisers did do a marvellous job and had given a lot of thought to how this show might work and how people could be kept safe. As exhibitors, we are very happy with the outcome and will be supporting other ISE events in the future.”
Among the new products on show from Equipson was the WORK PRO Audio ENTAR Series – a range of two-way professional loudspeakers aimed at the installation and live sound markets. The Series, which includes both passive and active models in a variety of different sizes, incorporates a thoroughly modern design and high quality components.
Equipson also launched a second new WORK PRO Audio range – the NGS LX. These speakers are designed for outdoor use and have IP65 weather protection. There are three models in the series, including a subwoofer and two-way speaker with built-in LED lighting, which was introduced as a direct result of customer demand.
In addition, ISE Barcelona gave Equipson the opportunity to unveil a new and more powerful FX engine for its Award-winning LightShark lighting and media control hardware product range. The new engine allows lighting technicians to create and synchronise effects on multiple parameters and apply different types of curves during each step of the effect. It is also now possible to position fixtures on a grid so that the engine can easily find them and apply effects at the right point in relation to these fixtures.
LightShark now has its own branding and a dedicated website where customers and end users can access information, tutorials and case studies highlighting the versatility of this innovative control hardware range. There is also a fully renovated LS-Cloud site with a new community membership site for LightShark owners offering private training events, membership benefits, beta tester programs, feature requests, discussion forums and much more.
