Fredrik Jönsson, is heading to Oslo’s “Riksteatret” in May to lead a lighting design workshop presented by Prostage. The workshop will be held over two days, and Fredrik will talk about a number of topics, including basic lighting principles, WYSIWYG CAD/Visualisation, methodology and process exemplified through case studies from his long career. In addition to the daytime program, all participants are invited to have dinner in the Prostage showroom at Bryn in Oslo in the evening of the first day.
Fredrik Jönsson is a Swedish lighting designer. He has worked with lighting for more than 30 years, mostly in TV, but he is also experienced in events, touring as well as architectural and interior lighting. He also lectures on methodology and lighting design for large events and broadcast productions.
In 2019, Fredrik did the lighting design for “Melodifestivalen” (national Swedish Eurovision finals), after which he will have completed 103 live shows for Melodifestivalen. He also did the lighting design for the international Eurovision final in Malmö in 2013 and in Stockholm in 2016.
He was awarded the LLB Award for best Lighting Design for his work on the 2013 Eurovision final, and in 2017, he received a TPi Award for “Lighting Designer of the Year” in London, as well as the swedish RIA award in the category “Visual Expression of the year”.
Workshop fee, NOK 1650 (£55), includes 2 days workshop, lunch both days, as well as dinner Tuesday evening.
