POLAR, established supplier of key industry brands to the installation, MI and professional audio markets, has announced the addition of ClearOne, UMA and Utelogy to its portfolio.
In keeping with POLAR’s commitment to a ‘concept to completion’ service for its customers, the new brands will ensure that the company remains ahead of the curve in being able to design and supply complete AV solutions for its integrator partners. POLAR sees the provision of cloud-based technologies, which are helping to revolutionise the management and control of resources within a wide variety of workplaces, as essential tools for the future, emphasising the company’s drive to be far more than a simple distributor of products.
US-based ClearOne produces innovative hardware and software for complete collaboration and communication solutions. From ad-hoc workspaces, huddle rooms and mobile conferences to the largest meeting venues and boardrooms, ClearOne has a large range of audio conferencing, visual collaboration and AV networking solutions to address every need, significantly broadening POLAR’s offering in the sphere of fast-evolving meeting room trends.
UMA is a privacy-first digital assistant for enterprise and is at the heart of UMA Book, a room booking system which integrates with Office 365 and G Suite using Cloud-based architecture with on-premise options. The often complex and frustrating process of booking meeting rooms within an enterprise organisation is simplified with an iOS or Android text-to-speech app or chatbots. These use familiar instant messaging platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Slack and Cisco Webex by means of conversational AI to communicate preferences.
Using GDPR-compliant in-room occupancy counting sensors and traditional PIR sensors, the system provides Facilities and IT Managers with insights into how rooms and technology are being utilised, allowing them to make data-driven decisions about future meeting room investment.
Utelogy is a leading provider of intelligent management, monitoring and software that delivers analytics and control to AV and Unified Communications hardware. Its platform can be used to manage everything from the simplest devices in huddle and learning spaces, through to the hardware contained in intelligent buildings and complex IOT environments. The Utelogy solution is a hardware-agnostic, open architecture and open standards software system that sits side by side with other business platforms and tools, providing unrivalled intelligence and operational insight, enabling organisations such as higher education settings to increase efficiency, reduce costs and make smarter decisions from real-time data.
POLAR, within its Integrated Solutions division, has also further developed its Project Design Service. The company has a comprehensive portfolio and as a solutions provider in an age of accelerated technological advancement, is taking project design services for resellers, consultants and end-users to a new level. From the initial consultation, through the production of detailed designs based on its offering, to site visits, EASE Plots for accuracy of loudspeaker coverage and SPL, speech intelligibility reports, system schematics and commissioning, POLAR’s experts can assist its integrator partners at every stage of a project.
Running alongside this initiative, the company has introduced hardware support contracts, which include next-day hardware replacement warranties on selected products, following technical support diagnosis. This service is offered through integrator partners to end-users to cover products that are system-critical. The POLAR team will be at booth 6-E150 and looks forward to discussing its new and existing brands and services with visitors to ISE.
