A record number of nearly 400 attendees representing a broad range of the live event industry are expected to attend the 2019 Event Safety Summit in Lititz, Pennsylvania (November 20-22), according to summit producer Event Safety Alliance and presenting sponsor Take1 Insurance.
“Event safety has finally become a top concern in virtually every segment of the live event production community,” Event Safety Alliance Chairman and President Jim Digby said today. “The professional diversity of those attending the 2019 Summit is a reflection of this fact. Attendees from motorsports, sailing, venues, municipalities, and universities will join representatives from the live music production community in looking deeper into the changing reality of live events through the most intensive, broad-ranging series of sessions and workshops we’ve ever staged.”
The 2019 schedule of presentations will kick-off with a welcome presentation from Scott Carroll, Executive Vice President & Program Director Scott Carroll. “Live events today face a barrage of risks that simply didn’t exist in any meaningful way a few short years ago. It’s critically important that live event professionals in all segments of the industry understand the realities of the risks they face and do everything within their power to mitigate against these risks.”
