VIOSO will be back at ISE Show 2022 to present the newest version of its well-known projection software, VIOSO 6, while showcasing its 20m projection dome and brand new logo to reflect change and innovation going forward.
The German manufacturer, who has built its reputation on mastering complex video calibration, will take the opportunity of ISE to unveil its brand new logo, which has been designed to better represent the main source of its innovation and DNA – light. The modern and light-weight wordmark with fresh colour scheme positively reflects the spirit and pace of the company.
VIOSO will also launch a new software package, which provides everything a system integrator needs to create perfect warp and blend scenarios in any multi-projection project. It is based on VIOSO’s patented auto-alignment technology, which uses one or multiple calibration cameras to automatically detect the projection layout, the screen geometry, and the colour set-up to ensure the setup of seamless projections within minutes.
On stand #3N550, the latest version of software solution VIOSO 6 will be introduced to ISE visitors, giving them the opportunity to deep dive into VIOSO´s calibration process and capabilities, with demonstrations taking place on several different workstations. The camera calibration process itself has received a major update with assisted visualisation, advanced extrapolation functions and new algorithms.
Supporting a high number of projectors and cameras, the software enables system integrators to realise highly complex installations with plenty of projectors that would be otherwise not possible. The ‘one-click’ recalibration makes the maintenance of such system controllable.
VIOSO 6 supports a great variety of screens, from widescreen panoramas, full domes and simulation set-ups up to complex projection mappings. In addition, a vast variety of calibration cameras are supported to make sure all sorts of projects can be realised. The in-depth functionality includes a full toolset for dealing with multi-projection set-ups, including colour corrections, black level compensation, geometry conversion and scattering compensation.
VIOSO founder and CEO, Benjamin Fritsch explains the new features introduced in version six: “We implemented a visual project designer to assist the set-up of a project, with multiple servers, projectors and cameras. A non-linear workflow with a fully integrated 3D engine ensures that even the most demanding set-ups can be realised with outstanding quality, and the integrated scripting engine makes integrations now as easy as possible. The camera calibration process itself received a major update, with assisted visualisation, extended extrapolation features and new algorithms. Let yourself be amazed by the VIOSO magic!”
As well as VIOSO’s booth in hall 3, there will be another VIOSO Dome Special on display, which is going to be bigger than ever this year. In Hall 5 stands an impressive 20m projection dome and a 7.6m flying dome right next to it.
Join VIOSO in Hall 5 (booth 5X400) to experience its immersive projection setups and see live calibration shows.
