Following the recent change in leadership, September 2019, VMS Live is undergoing a significant business realignment to create an improved customer focused service, with a new level of pro-active marketing support for venues to drive ticket sales.
VMS Live CEO Bert Van Horck stated: “We have taken a very close look at the heart of the company and consulted with the great team of people working here and fantastic clients to make some well-informed, bold decisions. To align our aims and those of our clients’ we will invest in new systems, a new office, create a new marketing department, for which we have appointed two marketeers.
“This signals our ambitions to help our clients grow their businesses and expand our portfolio of venues.”
VMS Live will open a central London office from 6th January 2020 in the Kings Cross / St Pancras area. This will house the company’s booking department, ticketing, marketing and music department, headed by Abbie Marshall, as well as central services such as finance and HR.
To realise the transformation into a marketing centric venue and promoting organisation, VLMS Live has created a new marketing department. Ioana Mosteanu joins VMS Live to head this. Since achieving a Masters Degree in International Marketing, she has amassed over 8 years’ experience in ticketing and promoting marketing at national level, including recently working for Red Bull, both abroad and in the UK. A new digital marketing and design specialist, Yara Magarino (also with Masters degree in Marketing) has also been appointed to this team. Ioana will also take charge of the ticketing department including our dedicated Hull Box Office, which is managed on a daily basis by Mark Hall.
Van Horck added: “Reflecting this fresh approach, we have refreshed our branding to better reflect the dynamic course we are setting on, concentrating on supporting mid-sized and university venues.”
Elsewhere in the company, Aoife Niblock has been promoted to northern regional manager, supervising the venues VMS Live operate in Wrexham (William Aston Hall), Liverpool (Eventim Liverpool) and Hull (Polar Bear, Asylum, the Welly).
